Welcome to the CCRE

The Center for Clinical Research Ethics (CCRE) was established through a partnership of the Washington University Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) and the Department of Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University. We serve the ICTS through education and consultation programs aimed at assisting ICTS investigators while pursuing our own original research in clinical research ethics.

We actively collaborate with other Washington University organizations, such as the Human Research Protections Office, to develop and deliver research ethics education programs and presentations. Please see our calendars page for more information regarding upcoming events. 

To support our educational activities in the ICTS, we maintain a library of research ethics cases that is freely available for public use. We continually expand the library with cases from diverse topic areas. The library is available here.
