Consultation Service

Consultations on clinical research ethics issues are available to investigators and ICTS Program Functions whose research may raise special ethical issues. A checklist of clinical research ethics issues that might trigger a consultation request has been developed and is used by the Scientific Review Committee in combination with the Biostatistics review. The checklist is also available to individual investigators upon request.

To request a clinical research ethics consultation, please complete the information below.

The Clinical Research Ethics Consultation Network (CRECN) is not part of the IRB/HRPO or the Regulatory Service Center and is not meant to duplicate the work of those units. The CRECN can advise investigators but cannot provide or guarantee IRB approval.
